Head of Application Development – Construction (m/f)
Job Description
• Setting of premisses and targets for Business Development (BD) and Technical Service for
Polyurethane systems in APAC region with focus on China, and to support the region
• Planning, monitoring and controlling of BD tasks for Systems and the associated resources for
Construction Systems and adaption of deviations
• Detailed knowledge of PUR chemistry especially for the broad variety of system business in
order to support the development teams in product and application development as well as for
realization of targets the business units
• Development of new applications in Systems
• Personal development in BD in the context of the personal development
• Expertise on a long-term view and transfer of expertise knowledge to employees Represent BD
interests in other organization units
• Support business through personnel relationship to customers
• Define and adapt costs and personal resource for technical support and development in the
Construction business together with Marketing Units
Profile
• University graduate major in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, Master or PhD preferred
• Able to work independently
• Management and team-leader experience
• Experience in complex or large project
• More than 8 years experience in Polymer industry (preferably in Polyurethane technology) or in the
Construction industry
• Ready for challenges and willing to shape our future
• Good interpersonal and communication skills within internal organization and with customers
• Good spoken & written English
• Willing to travel within the APAC region
