Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Laboratory Head with a PhD in Biochemistry or a related field
plus several years of relevant post-doctoral experience in pesticide biochemistry and physiology or
equivalent studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for the biochemical support of our
chemistry efforts. He/She will develop, optimize and run biochemical and cellular assays to support
projects as part of a small molecule drug discovery program.
Your Profile Candidates should have a good knowledge in biochemistry and physiology (preferably with plant pathogens). Experience of fungicide Mode of Action and optimization studies will be an advantage as well as knowledge of the fungicide market. We also expect high level communication skills, particularly in multi-disciplinary groups and a supervisory experience, since the successful candidate will direct a technician. A good awareness of other disciplines involved in fungicide discovery (i.e. biology, chemistry, molecular biology, IT, bioavailability) is expected. This position requires a good command of English and also French in due course.
