Ltd. at Shanghai Jinqiao (上海金桥出口加工区) is looking for the
• Provide technical support for APAC customers
• Lead a laboratory team
• Set strategies for waterborne coatings in APAC and create the waterborne market proactively
• Train customers, sales force, BD colleagues and own staff
• Set up a network throughout the global organization to ensure technology transfer to APAC
• Initiate developments according to the APAC market needs and the requests from the other APAC
groups (be the dispersion development hub for APAC)
• Lead and participate in task forces, initiatives and projects
• Seek for new applications for our current products or for new products
• Be the platform for the development of new dispersions for all coatings applications inside APAC
• Trigger small product modifications and adaptations in Caojing after production start in Q2/2008
• Support product support team at PRDC in maintaining BMS’ high quality product standards for
dispersions
Profile
• PhD in polymer chemistry, preferably with focus on dispersions
• Around 5 years of experience in the European or US coatings industry, with focus on waterborne
coatings
• Familiar with basic coating technologies and processes
• Knowledge of coating-related market trends and regulations, preferably waterborne
• Ability to break down a problem into its elements and solve them individually
• Ability to learn and adapt to new job
• Result Orientation – has to focus on key objectives and achieve them
• English & Mandarin skills
