I have taken on roles that range from regional sales manager in the UK, to brand manager for our One A Day® vitamin line, to lead the entire Cardio Aspirin® business area in the U.S. 

I’ve also been a part of many exciting projects, like developing a new strategy, new advertising and new product for One-A-Day®. It was thrilling. We doubled the size of the business and executed the most successful new product launch in our division’s history. What excites you about your latest role?
When this latest opportunity arose—to take on Diabetes Care—I was eager to take on the challenge of a leadership role in a business that is new to me. And I thought the position was an ideal fit for me. Their strategic goals involve a stronger direct-to-consumer marketing framework, and that’s my strong suit.

I’m also excited about my part in creating, with several other strong female leaders at Bayer HealthCare, a “Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI);” it is designed to create an environment that fosters the advancement of women into senior leadership positions.

How do you think Bayer HealthCare’s marketing philosophy supports a professional’s achievement?

This is an extremely creative environment, where marketers have the tools—and the freedom—to make the most of their careers. Our Marketing Excellence Talent Management initiative, for example, really encourages movement cross-brand, cross-function or cross-division to help you expand your career horizons, build category knowledge and strengthen your skill sets.
