The organisation of Bayer Turkey with more than 800 employees involves two corporate bodies namely; "Bayer Türk Kimya Sanayi Ltd. Şti." and "Bayer İlaç Fabrikaları A.Ş.". In line with the corporate organization, Bayer Turk also has 4 Business Companies in its headquarters in Istanbul which are; "HealthCare", "CropScience", "Polymers" and "Chemicals". "AnimalHealth" and "Diagnostics" businesses are aligned under HealthCare Organization and likewise, "Environmental Science" business operates under CropScience Organization. There is also a "Business Services Company" to provide Human Resources, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems, Local Buying and Import & Export services to the Business Companies. Production is realized in Bayer Turk Gebze Factory and BIFA. Bayer Turk Gebze Factory manufactures crop protection products and pharmaceuticals, including acetylsalicylic acid, the active ingredient of Aspirin. On the other hand, BIFA formulates pharmaceuticals. As the largest subsidiary in the Middle East Region, Bayer Turk also exports crop protection products and pharmaceuticals to neighbouring countries.
