Bayer Thai Awarded Quality Award 2010
Samut Prakan, August 2010. Praise for Bayer in Thailand:
The company has received a "Quality Award" from the Thai Health Ministry for its Environmental
Science production at Bayer CropScience (BCS) formulation site in Bangpoo Industrial Estate, Samut
Prakan. Bayer received the award as recognition of the company’s production processes, corporate
social responsibility, and legal compliance.
Company Praised by Public Health Minister
Peera Sriubolmas, Site Manager of BCS’s formulation site of Bayer Thai recently received the award
from Jurin Laksanawisit, Public Health Minister. “We are honored to be awarded for our efforts in
product stewardship and to be a good corporate citizen,” said Sriubolmas. Bayer Thai was one of the
two companies to receive the award in its category.
The award was aimed to raise awareness of improving production process and workplace safety
standards. Bayer Thai’s formulation site has been certified a Good Manufacturing Practices Standard
(GMP) since 1999 from the Ministry of Public Health, in addition to being the first company in the
country to receive this certificate in the hazardous substances category.
